Bright Star offers a complete Preschool program designed to help your child make decisions, develop talents and build self-esteem. At Bright Star we help your preschooler acquire the skills necessary to prepare them for the increased subject matter focus of her pre-k and kindergarten years - all while having fun! We will provide a personalized daily report detailing your child's accomplishments, activities, meals and quiet time information, and any other important notes about their day.

Preschoolers Daily Schedule

6:00-8:00 Health Check/Freeplay
7:00-8:00 Snack in cafeteria
8:00-8:30 Circle Time (Large Group, discuss weekly theme, days of the week, letters, colors, numbers, weather and morning song)
8:30-9:30 Center Time (Children will wash hands then explore art, manipulatives, sand/water table, blocks, housekeeping or puzzles)
9:30-10:00 Clean Up (Children will put items back in marked and labeled areas)
10:00-10:30 Outside/Gym Time (Children will engage in instructional or free time activities in the gymnasium or outdoors weather permitting)
10:30-11:00 Potty/Wash Hands (After going to bathroom and washing hands children will participate in music and movement)
11:00-11:30 Lunch (This is a time fore the teachers to promote healthy habits and teach manners)
11:30-12:00 Story Time (Teacher will read the children a story based on the theme of the week)
12:00-2:00 Nap/Quiet Time (This is rest time for children, there will be quiet classical music played and materials available for non-sleepers)
2:00-2:30 Wake up/Potty/Wash Hands
2:30-3:30 Outside/Gym (Children will engage in instructional or free time in the gymnasium or outdoors, weather permitting)
3:30-4:00 Wash Hands/Snack (Helpers get to pass out napkins and cups)
4:00-4:30 Games (Children will explore math and language games with teachers)
4:30-5:30 Center Time (Children will wash hands then explore art, manipulatives, sand/water table, blocks, housekeeping or puzzles)
5:30-6:30 Closing Circle/Story Time/Dismissal (Children will discuss the days activities, wash hands and get ready to go home)
