At Bright Star, Pre-k is a time to acquire the skills necessary to prepare them for the increased subject matter focus of their kindergarten years. Certified teachers will promote your child's understanding of the world around them through our propriety curriculum including:

| 8:00-8:30 | Circle Time (Large Group, discuss weekly theme, days of the week, letters, colors, numbers, weather and morning song) |
| 8:30-10:00 | Center Time (Children will wash hands then explore art, manipulatives, sand/water table, blocks, housekeeping or puzzles) |
| 10:00-10:30 | Clean Up (Children will put items back in marked and labeled areas) |
| 10:30-11:15 | Outside/Gym Time (Children will engage in instructional or free time activities in the gymnasium or outdoors) |
| 11:15-11:45 | Potty/Wash Hands (After going to bathroom and washing hands children will participate in music and movement) |
| 11:45-12:00 | Lunch (This is a time fore the teachers to promote healthy habits and teach manners) |
| 12:00-12:30 | Story Time (Teacher will read the children a story based on the theme of the week) |
| 12:30-2:00 | Nap/Quiet Time (This is rest time for children, there will be quiet classical music played and materials available for non-sleepers) |

| 2:30-3:30 | Outside/Gym (Children will engage in instructional or free time in the gymnasium or outdoors, weather permitting) |
