Bright Star has luxury buses equipped with air-conditioning and safety belts. We drop off and pick up children from all the local schools. We will provide an AM Snack, a PM Snack, and an additional late snack for those who stay later in the evening.
Upon arrival from school, your child will be given assistance with homework. They can even check out a book from our library to count towards ready homework. We have age appropriate books for all levels of reading. They will also be given time to get their energy out indoors or outdoors.
School Agers Daily Schedule (Half day)
| 3:00-3:30 | Wash Hands/Snack (Helpers get to pass out napkins and cups) |
| 3:30-4:15 | Homework (Children that need assistance will get homework help; those that don’t have homework will be given a quiet activity) |
| 4:15-5:30 | Outside/Gym (Children will engage in instructional or free time in the gymnasium or outdoors, weather permitting) |
| 5:30-6:30 | T.V./Story Time/Dismissal Children will be able to watch T.V. or read then wash hands and get ready to go home) |
